Weird scratching

My parents puggle will put her paws over her ears and put her nose on the ground and writhe around. She does this multiple times a day, sometimes for extended periods. She'll often become more frantic towards the end and will then scratch at her bed aggressively.

We're unsure what could be the cause of this so was hoping for some help.

She really needs to see a vet - only they can identify the exact cause, and the sooner you can get a diagnosis and treatment, the sooner she'll stop suffering.
