We have had one of those balls on a rope for ages and it's only used outside in the park, but today Scrumpy must have pulled it out of my pocket as I found her chewing the rope bit. I took it off her and she'd almost chewed through the loop handle, I pulled it apart and found a piece of wire holding the handle bit together. This is over an inch long and has a sharp point. I dread to think what damage this would do to delicate puppy insides (w00t) , I don't know the make of this but they are probably all the same. If your dog plays with one of these take care. I don't know if these pics show it very clearly but it looks pretty lethal to me.

we have a similar ball on a rope... will make sure it is only played with when I am around!

I'll need to get call my mom and tell her to watch what kind of toys she is buying for the dogs. Thats so dangerous.

Thank goodness you found it before it was swallowed it looks like the top of a wire coathanger, I'm sure half of the people who make toys for pets have never had one :unsure:

Mine won't chase a ball, they would rather I throw it then go get it myself :shifty:but thanks for the warning :thumbsup:

j.t. take it to your local trading standards office(usually in your local town hall) and make a complaint.theyll take it off the market. :thumbsup:

I cant remember where I got it from or the make of it, or I would take it back. I probably got it from one of the shows I go to so will keep an eye out for anyone selling them & tell them about it. :thumbsup:
