your always better getting a pup and training it yourself in my experience it's very rare for an owner to sell a good working lurcher thats 100%. If you get a pup now it will be perfect for next season and better still it will do what you want it to do and respond to how you have trained it.

i have worked dogs since i was wee mate and my family before that have had more out of dogs than most.i know wat u mean about the pup mate but that at the moment doesnt help me the dog is for my wee brother to teach him but i mean 100% healthy mate not 100%working.i can get a dog to work ,jump and do most things in time and it doesnt really bother me if the dog isnt 100%workingjust as long as it is sound in the head and health department everything else will come with training.a change in hands in alot of ways can make a dog work better.

I've had dogs for years mate too and i've seen so called dog men have over 20 dogs in a season because not one of them were to there liking. I hate it when dogs get passed from pillar to post as the poor dogs never get time to settle.

I only hope you get what your looking for .
