Has anyone on their travels spotted a large garden or general ornamental statue of a greyhound or a smooth lurcher ? Sometimes these appear in Auctions or even Garden Centres.

Depending on condition im willing to pay good dough for one....please keep your peepers wide-open for me.

John just the other day a friend of mine had mentioned they had bought a stone greyhound of ebay (not sure the price). After getting it they thought it looked abit dull just plain grey so they sent it of to an artist with a picture of there lads dog(bull x greyhound)(black and white) and when they got it back it looked very good. so have a look on ebay the pic they showed me of it was about the same height of there sofa arm.

these look quite nice from sideways on.....?????

seen another beauty somewhere-can't think where...it will come back to me.
I'm sure this is the same one Gillian (Gilliwigs) has in her lovely garden, I think she painted yoghurt on it to get it weather worn and mouldy looking (correct me if I'm wrong, tho')

Postage is dear, must be heavy, if you choose this one , maybe people can relay it to you like they do with some pups on here (w00t)

I've got one like that , I paid £25 for it from a weird place near Penzance!!!!!!! I also had one , the same I got in the 70's but it got broken. the are nice, mine is painted now with exterior paint to stop it gradually wearing away in the weather!!!!!!!!!!

This seller also sells them but doesn`t have any listed today....he might re-list soon as they go off for a while but always come back....he sells them in pairs for £45.00 and delivery is £37.50 ..... I contacted him a while back and he would be prepared to sell one rather than a pair for £30.00 but delivery would be the same price. I don`t know about delivery to Ireland but there is a contact number. If two people wanted one and were going to meet up or lived close by it seems a better deal to buy the pair and share the costs.....Hope helpful x
