Wall-eyed

hi, can anyone tell me what wall-eyed means, i have seen this on a couple of adverts for lurchers, usually on the merle coloured dogs, im not sure what it means, thanks,

one blue or light coloured eye, while the other is the more usual brown. you usually find wall eyed dogs, and horses, have a coloured patch on the side where the eye is blue, and its more common on blue/blue merle animals. i've seen a white with blue patches stafford with a brown eye and the other was yellow :blink:
