Vetmedin Some Questions ?

Hi my 5 year old whippet has been on this for a month now due to enlarged heart ! she has stopped couging so much but is still very snotty with a nasal discharge seems like she can't breath she snores so lous at night :unsure: and as she sleeps with us we are not getting so much sleep she had a camera put her nose when at the vets and a samplesent off but nothing was found!

How long does vetmedin take to start working and should all the symptoms go ? she sdue back for another check up next week,but was just interested in peoples views.

Vetmedin takes three weeks to become effective, so you should be seeing some results now.

My whippet has heart failure and he is on Vetmedin and now Fortekor as he suffered another collapse and the vet who examined him said his heart has enlarged now so he needs both drugs.
