Uploading A Word Doc.

Good morning. Some help please. I have typed a document in WORD and now want to upload it onto a K9 post. The method I have tried to use is failing( I saved the document. I then prepared a post on k9. I hit browse, found the document and hit add attachment. It will not work for me . Can anyone assist?

You should just be able to 'browse' as normal, then add attachment, and then add into post :thumbsup:

Yes, you should just be able to attach it to a post... but it doesn't work. It used to work but broke quite a while ago now & I cannot find the reason why.... Now when you click on the word document link it gets rendered as text instead of the correct Word application type :rant:

There might be some hope - K9 is moving onto a new server very shortly and I'm hoping that might solve the issue. If it doesn't I really should upgrade the software that K9 uses and if the new server doesn't fix the issue then the upgrade certainly would.

In the meantime anyone wanting to post a word document can email me the file & I'll put it on the server then you can just link to it.
