many thanks to all who turned up to have a look & help try and sort the track out today. peter, russ, gary, jeff, erica, pat, vicky, elaine, brian and hayley (and anyone else ive missed off) anyway thankfully the track is nowhere near as bad as we had once thought. wot had appeared to be bald patches of grass, once it was raked was actually ground in cut grass which prob got like this becoz of the floods. anyway the helpers did some raking and scattered some grass seeds & providing we have no more floods the track was actually runable today. so everything crossed we shud b able to race after the champs @ wallsend (but we will wait and see)
