After only a few days on the Birman rescue list, I had a call from a very nice couple from Worcester, who had recently lost their 22 (w00t) year old Birman, and were desperate for Birman company.

They are coming to collect the girls on Thursday, and they will be living on a farm, with 4 acres of field and woodland to play in, and their very own Springer Spaniel to boss around! :- "

I will be so sad to see them go, but I know they will be happier not having to assert their authority over the other cats, and I know the other 4 cats will be much more relaxed without having to watch their backs all the time

Thanks for all the help and suggestions, hopefully I will be able to get regular updates on them as they settle in.

Oh that's fab news Liz! :huggles: I know it will be hard to let them go, but it sounds as though they're going to have the best possible new home with regular updates for you. I will be thinking of you on Thursday. :huggles:

sounds like the perfect home for them, 4 acres sounds like birman heaven :)

shame that there arn't just a few guinea pigs to play with though (w00t) :- "
