Appologies to everyone for the lack of K9 yesterday (Monday).
I'm trying to get to the bottom of the cause but the result was that the server crashed and hence K9 went with it. I think it may have something to do with the Bugbear virus and lots of emails going out with the forged From: address as info@k9community. These emails didn't come from us but from someone with the virus.
The software that K9 uses at the moment (Ikonboard) is very heavy on server resources & we are stretching the server, so any little problem and it ends up crashing. I'm looking at upgrading the software to a different bulletin board which is a development from the original Ikonboard - hopefully this will happen over the coming months. When that is complete it should help server loading and hence improve reliability.
