Unknown growths on Cockerpoo's nose and chin

Hi, our Cockerpoo has recently started suffering from a build-up of dark a hard nodules on her nose and chin. When soaked they can go gummy and can be pulled off however, this has led to an increase in growth. We have seen the vet before lockdown and she wasn't sure what they were and offered us a hibiscus scrub but this hasn't worked. It seems to be bothering her as she has started rubbing her nose with her paws and on the doormat. We will try a different vet after lockdown, however, we are wondering if anyone has come across this before. Please see photos attached. Thank you for any help!

Vets round our way are opening up again - I would get back to your original vet, say the hibiscus hasn't worked, and ask for further ideas. They may want to do a skin scrape or similar.

Or if you have no faith in them, find a new vet - even if they won't see her on their premises, they should be happy to look at the photos. I wouldn't wait till the end of lockdown unless the vet is entirely happy based on the photos.

Poor thing, but it’s got to be checked out , like Judy said if your not happy find one that knows his stuff.

Like already said...please contact a vet.
Looking at the photos, I would not be surprised to find out if that is caused by some type of mite. Some mites do take on human hosts too so that is another reason to get it checked and treated ASAP.
