Hello
I really hope someone can help me and my dog.
I have recently noticed a couple of strange circular marks on my dogs chest which I initially thought was ringworm but after a search on Google ruled this out as it is not itchy and there is no hair loss. I took a trip to the vet who were unsure and prescribed an antibacterial spray, this made no difference. I have also noticed another mark near my dogs vagina which looks similar to a blood blister and is a little swollen.
My mum has a new puppy who play fights with my dog and I am wondering if these are ‘war’ wounds as I have today found 2 more of the circular marks on my dog. I have attached some pictures and hope someone may be able to help me as the vet was a little clueless and wanted to give my dog an anaesthetic which I don’t want as she is 12.
Thank you

Hello.

Sorry, I'm not going to be very much help, but if they could be from playing with your mum's puppy, keeping them apart for a couple of weeks might give you the answer.

That said, they don't look !Ike injuries. Did the vet do a skin scrape or anything? If they don't clear up and your vet doesn't know, don't be shy about asking for a referral to a specialist.

My first thought was ringworm and it isn't always itchy ..I would see another vet and ask for a skin scrap and yes definitely monitor play with pup :plet us know how you get on
