It was June here mid-afternoon, but it certainly wasn't for the rest of the day!

It’s Cardiff, Wales, that’s a main road, it was more like a stream. It’s finally stopped and the sun is trying to come out now:rolleyes:

I'm in Swansea and for the last 2 morning's I have been soaked through to my knicker's while taking the boys out for their morning offlead walk they couldn't of cared how wet I was they were having too much fun rolling around in the mud:D

Here in NL we have had storms the last few days...OH came up to bed and said whatever you do dont flush the loo..I looked outside and saw the whole road had flooded. My daughter wasnt so lucky her toilet overflowed as the drains just couldnt cope with the sheer amount of water..I sort of expected an Ark to go floating past at one point!

We're on the Welsh Border...it's the village fete today.:( Anyone in Cheshire or even the Peak District see a large tent go by this afternoon- probably containing contestants for the fun dog show - please contact us.

I have to admit that, despite the weather, I am feeling a little envious of how many of you live in / near Wales. Pembrokeshire has to be one of my favourite places - beautiful beaches. We were there last week and we did get to see the sun;).

 Blimey ! Its been very wet and windy here in West London.

We had a plan of moving to mid Wales when OH retired (3 yrs time ) but due to weather and NHS waiting times have decided to stay in the south ....

what a great pic of the owls:)

Thanks that pic was taken two days ago..
Last night I didn't take my camera out because it had rained non stop all day and I didnt think we would see them plus I didnt want to get the camera soaking wet.... halfway down the road the clouds cleared and as we came round the corner both adults were sitting in a low tree about 10 feet away ... :(

Owl envy... what sort of owls are they?
