Two chihuahuas together good or bad idea

Hello could someone give advice I currently have 1 male chi who's wonderful in every sense but 16 wks old when trained and settled I would like a companion for him but would it be best for male x2 or male plus female any advice appreciated.

It can be very hard work to have two young dogs together. They tend to bond with each other to the detriment of their relationship with you. Much better to wait until the dog you have is a fully formed adult.

If you really must have two dogs, and please don't think your dog will thank you for getting another dog, then a bitch is a better mix. Better still is a completely different breed and different sex. You then do not get so much rivalry.
