Greetings fellow coursers. I need some assistance. I'm looking for a supplier of tripe. No, I don't mean that which Hareloss talks, I mean the real thing, to feed the dogs. Does anyone know of a supplier in Norfolk or Suffolk?

Many thanks

LM

Anglian Meat Product (AMP) will deliver weekly and are based that way. They do various minced tripes, I buy their 'standard' tripe in a box of 40 454gm packs or their 2kg packs of tripe chunks which are exactly what they say they are. They also do finer minced packs which are ideal for puppies but are not as 'green' as the standard tripe. Not a bad price either but you do have to pay delivery. They have a website.

Berriewood also do weekly deliveries but to get the best price you have to order £100 worth of goods (which actually sounds worse than it is is if you are feeding a lot of dogs). I think they get their meat from AMP but package it under their own name but you can also get complete feeds and a whole range of other products from them as well. Unfortunately have not got a website but advertise in the dog papers.

Hi dessie. Many thanks for the information I will follow up. I already deal with Berriewood for the food I feed my lurchers but I want to try Saucey Madam and Magic Trick on a tripe and a bit of something else diet that has been recommended. Amp is probably closer to me so I will see what I can do with them first. Thanks alot.

Not at all Greeny. Unlike some i'm always striving for perfection and am open minded enough to listen to others and to try different things. My dogs as you would expect are in first class condition at the moment but who knows what a slight tweek of the diet may produce?? . Incidentally , Saucey madam drew quite a crowd when doing some speed training on the beach yesterday if your down my way and want to see abit of brindle quality make sure you introduce yourself. Look for a small crowd on Kessingland beach . We'll make you welcome and maybe offer you some advice if you ask nicely. Best wishes to you Greeny,

Yours in (fun) sport

What racing name does Saucy Madam run under as I've not heard anything about her ?

Regards,

Scott.

L.M. Looks like Scott is only a short fellow ?.

Regards Clive

You're new to coursing I suppose Scott. A season or two at the sharp end of the sport and you wouldn't need to ask such questions. Yours with a sigh

Lamping Man – Here’s the web site you need www.prizechoice.co.uk they will inform you of local stockist but most good pet shops stock it , don’t forget the chicken wings . Essex dogs look and go good on it , remember your quote earlier on " outstanding " See you in the new year , Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from the Essex's .

Well done Essex. Thanks for the info. Haven't heard much from you of late,a bit like your dogs!! I think if my dogs get any fitter they'll be seen on military radar screens as they take off! No kidding so i'll be introducing my new diet very gently. Have a good xmas no doubt you will be getting the odd shell suit from Romford market in your stocking. Ware it with pride like a true Essex man. Best wishes to your lot from this lot!!

Clive, 5ft 11" and people who know me know how well balanced I am..... a chip on each shoulder! :D :D :D

LM, been coursing for about 4 years, heard of your bitch but never seen her. From the sound of your post she sounds like a flying machine. If she's as quick as the impression you give why don't you race her ? If she can run in a straight line I'd put £50 on my dog beating her off scratch!

Regards,

Scott.

Not all as rich as you LM. Why don't we start at £50 or are you just talking out of your arse ?

Regards,

Scott.

Listen Scott. I don't no if I can ask Saucey Madam to take her head off the velvet pillow for the pittance you are putting down.To let you down gently Scott, let me say this if you want to race at your level then try Blackpool beach in July, you'll find plenty of other donkeys to accommodate you.

the irrepressible Lamping man

He's sick of beating those donkeys. All I can say is ..... put your money where your mouth is.

Scott.

There seems to be a lot more tripe being talked than fed to dogs at the moment. :0

Come on Mr G I think there needs to be an invitation match. :)

To Mr Limpy... Due to all the on beach action just north from me i have had to close Cheydanhar Hall for the Christmas week as S. M. is proving to be a bigger draw.

So limplamp are you going to cover staff Chrismas bonuses out of you winnings with the short fellow ?

I will put up the fenland if you boys want to sort this in a mans way ?

Yours Clive..

I'll have a pint of whatever Clive and Limpman are drinking! :w :w :w

YIS,

Scott.

Your turn of phrase is far to subtle for me CCS. You will need to speak English! I though let my dogs do the talking thats if I can slow them down for long enough. They were on the beach this morning and I kid you not they melted the snow with their blistering pace.

the ever amazed Lamping man

Lamping man/Chris/ Poacher Pam,

post op/pre op, I'm not sure. Is the lure to get the Madam in training to run with the Devil ?

Regards,

Scott.
