HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO OUR BELOVED TODDY

I cannot believe that it is a whole year since I travellled to Gordieland, to collect a little bony bundle aged 7 months. :wub:

It has been a year of chaos, destruction, worry and some serious health issues (for Toddy). :x

I can understand why his previous owners gave up and did not want him.

There have been times .................... :sweating: :sweating: :sweating:

It has taken a year of hard work, but we have turned the corner and every day with him is entertaining and a joy.

He still has a problem with the 'NO' word (some kind of mental block :wacko: ) but 'LEAVE' usually suffices ;)

He has been a totally different preloved / adopted whippet learing experience from anything that has gone before.

He still thinks he is a kangaroo and that humans were put on Earth just to play with him but he is just o:) o:) o:)

Thank you little Toddy for our first year together :wub: :wub: :wub:

Aaah he's lovely though - Happy First Something Toddy. :wub: I think everyone that rescues goes through what you described. We had an horrendous first year with Pip - health and behaviour but after the corner was turned, we were blessed with a fantastic girl. We lost her tragically last November and I still miss her as much now as when it happened.
 
So sorry to hear that Pip has gone to rainbow bridge. Rescues are special :wub: Those of us who have been there know that ;)

Toddy has taught me so much and brings us all so much pleasure. Life is never dull these days :wacko:
 
he is a gorgeous and happy boy :wub: well done you, I bet Toddy couldn't wish for a better mummy :)

Nicky, You cannot see in the photo, but Toddy actually has a pierced ear.

He has a small hole in his left ear just perfect for a diamond stud :wub: :teehee:
