I have come across a coat which I think is called a Thunder Coat and I wonder if anybody has any experience of it.

I ask because we regularly take the ferry to the Isle of Wight (approx 1 hour) and our little dog is terrified and shakes all the time. I don't know why, but he does. He is fine in any other sort of transport.

I am wondering if this Thunder Coat might help.

Thanks, John

I have a thundershirt for my dog who is scared of fireworks etc, it did help her a lot last year not perfect but it did seem to ease her quite a bit

I think they do a money back thing so if it doesn't work you can take it back for full refund

It does genuinely work for a fair number of dogs, so it's definitely worth a try.

If you're ordering online you're looking for 'thunder shirt'

I tried one on a friends recommendation, it made a huge difference to her Hungarian Vizla and she swears by it, but made no difference to my beagle so I do think they work for some, not others. They do offer money back guarantees tho so gotta be worth trying if the company is prepared to put their money where their mouths are!!

I have never used a thunder shirt on Rocky but I have heard great things about them.

Rocky was recently attacked by a GSD and his is currently wearing an adapitil collar which also has a calming effect on him.

If I could afford the thunder shirt he would definitely have one.
