Three whippets have been stolen from their home in Outlane, Huddersfield (Postcode area HD3) on New Years day. Their full details are on the Dog Lost.co.uk website which was posted on the 3rd Jan.

Basically the details are: 1 bitch 12 years old, 1 bitch 6 years old and a 7 year old dog. All 3 are fawn with small amount of white trim. The thieves went to a lot of trouble walking over fields in the snow to get them so they obviously knew what they were doing. The oldest has been stolen before so the poor girl must be very confused. Lets publicise this as much as posssible to try and make these whippets too hot to handle.

These kenels are easily visible from the M62 both directions I've passed them many many times and seen these dogs in their kennels and paddock. So others must see them too

:luck: with finding them

the main discussion thread is here: http://www.k9community.co.uk/forums/index....c=66268&hl=

whoever has them, I hope these dogs are being properly sheltered in this bad weather

you can download and print out posters; I have emailed this info to some people I know in and around W Yorkshire in hopes they will keep an eye out and help spread the word (yes, the dogs could be anywhere now, but I suspect they will be somewhere relatively nearby, say between Manchester and Leeds)

I live in Huddersfield and our local paper it reports that they have been found but a ransom had to be paid for their return.

Only just seen this. Have the three stolen whippets been found and, if so, are they okay?
