Caught the two ”alpha bitches” in one photo yesterday. In the back is Ch Play A While XXXX and in the front our Pekingese bitch “Kina” (“China”) sleeping in the same bed. The two breeds get along just wonderfully!! Kina is a grand daughter of famous UK Pekingese dog Ch Pekehuis Sir Guy. Kina “controls” the Chinese gang but Buddha (XXXX) is the leader of the whole gang of Pekingese and whippets!! Buddha is as usual sleeping under something warm!!

Did you intend to have two such different breeds or did it just happen? I love Pekes they are so full of character. Dont your Whippet puppies ever want to paw them down. We have a huge Tortoise (not that Im saying its like a Peke :b ) Polly is always standing on it when it walks, she trys to get its legs to buckle to stop it moving albeit really slowly! Brian takes NO notice, the only thing he is remotely interested in is eating and trying to mate with my feet (w00t)

Hi!

Actually it's a thin cotton blanket and not my boxers!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pekes belong to my partner so I don't breed pekes but very much enjoy living around them!!

We have not had any problems concerning whippet puppies and the pekes. The pekes tells the whipet puppy very clearly what is ok and not!!

My Mum has Pekes, her first one was a very handsome pure white boy called Ming also!! Brave as a lion and up for anything!! He would tramp miles over the common with us. Now she has Chang (who's getting on a bit at 13!) and Smokey, he's also game for a laugh and the Whippets get on fine with them.
