    does anybody know of whippet racing near Penrith ? I was talking to a bloke in the pub today and he swears there's pedigree racing there!

There is definatly NO pedigree racing in penrith.

there are a few non ped clubs up that way but the furthest pedigree club north in England is the Northern PWRC and the secretary can be reached on (01706) 669120 for an info pack and directions

there are two pedigree clubs in Scotland.
