The Coursing Crew show report for the Midland Game fair.
The weather was on our side all weekend, the turnout was high and the standard of dogs that went through the rings and over the start and finish line during the weekend.
As always we began the days events with the field events
Simulated coursing the champion of which was Mrs Rodgerson's "BARLEY" with Mr and Mrs Browns " BRYN" as reserve.
The hurdles champion was S Thomas's "GEORGE" with Mrs Rodgerson's "JIGSAW" reserve.
In the straight racing The Lou Fowler Memorial under 21" was won by C Weavers "GERT" with S Thomas's "PEBBLES" coming reserve, 23"

The Open lurcher show began at 10am with 3 seperate rings, our lurcher judges were, A Pritchard from Shropshire, S Doble from Somerset and A Wilde from Middlesex,
Lurcher Puppt Champion was E Brown's "EVE" with A Perry's "DANAN" reserve
The lurcher champion was C Bryce's "ROXY" and reserve A Wood's "FREYA",
The afternoons Countryman's Weekly Champion of Champion saw J Whiteman from Sussex and D Davis fromShropshire Officiating fot the lurchers,
The title of Countryman's Weekly Champion of Champions 2012 went to L Flatman's "KIZZY", Reserve was V Grocock's "LOGAN",3rd R Powell "BELLE", 4th C Raybold's "FERN"

We raised £53 for the East Midlands Dog Rescue with the charity racing over 2 days thank you,
