The Jan Keeble Gold Cup was an outstanding success today with some great racing closely contested in brilliant sunshine. Jan Keeble and her husband Peter did us proud with beautiful trophies and generous sponsorship which resulted in a top class payout to all the winners.

Jan Keeble is a lovely lady who loves greyhounds and whippets, so she was very at home at Thurrock and seemed to thoroughly enjoy the racing.

What a great days racing the track was in a superb condition and the atmosphere great makes all the hard work well worth while. especially when you see the happy smiling faces of the victors, nice surprise to see Robby Poole and family, who came to watch and I believe went home with a pup.
