Firstly, thank you all for your good wishes, both on on this forum and the telephone calls.

Of course, Cracker will NEVER be replaced....she was a lovely little dog, a pleasure to own...and I was probably more proud of her than it is reasonable to be......Her death was a terrible tragedy....I blame myself to some extent, but then I suppose every responsible owner would...it was my duty to look after her, and I failed her....she never failed me.

But, that aside....I still have Piper, her mum and Barney, her litter-mate. Barney will be in the racing champs on the 18th of April....that involves some training etc. at the Northern, before we get there, so I'll see you all there.

I may put Piper in the East of England meeting at 6 Mile Bottom in Feb....I won't expect her to do anything...but at least WE'LL BE THERE. I am definately going to mate her to Sunshine again, she is due in season in June (I haven't phoned Jack yet, but I think it should be ok).......I will keep a bitch, she will be called Carry, and will be run under the name of "Carry the Flag", because that is what she will do, for all the Greenwood household, including Cracker. So there will be another 10 pages of "Pipers' pups", whether you like it or not. :p

Thank you all for your support.

good on you john  . cracker was a lovely bitch and she had a short but excellent life.

what makes you think you'll get a bitch? if youre luck is anything like mine you'll have a litter of all dogs lol :- "

You can't keep a good man down for long ;)

nice to see you back John

God John you've got me in tears, thats so sweet!

I wish you the best of luck with Piper's next litter

Vicky xx

As I said on the phone John, don't beat yourself up!

As a great man once said to me when I was feeling down ..... CHIN UP!

Regards,

Scott.

I think your plan to honour Cracker by calling the next puppy Carry The Flag is lovely. The first litter all looked lovely so I'm sure you'll have some takers for the next one. Best of luck John.
