The Coursing Crew's winter event day on Novem ber 20th. To be held at Poolsbrook, Chesterfield, S43 3FL by kind consent of Notts &Derby WRC. To include simulated coursing £5 per entry, straight racing 23" & under, over 23", pups & terriers £2. Entries taken from 9.30am to start as soon as first card is full. Followed by a full lurcher show. £1 per entry, to start approx 1pm. Enquiries call Paddy on 07737765999.

We are really looking forward to it.It will be great to see my Pooslbrook friends again.

Its a great bit of land,thanks to Les and his team,so lets hope for a great turnout.

Karen paddy hasn't changed you are right, but I had a bigger paper round than him!!
 
Just checked on the map it's a 10 day camel hike :teehee: the trundle truck would be exhausted :lol: :lol:

We have a friend of a friend bringing a burger van on, so there will be refreshments available!!
 
Another great racing event held by the coursing crew...even the fog lifted so we could see the dogs lol

Unders winner - Becki's Babe :thumbsup:

Overs winner - Becki's Sam :thumbsup:

not sure on the other race winners ie pups n terriers n greyhounds i'm afraid :unsure:

Well done to all those who ran, and showed, a good turn out n no fighting..well not that i saw anyway :teehee:
 
Oh and forgot to say, many thanks for the whippet club at poolsbrook for the use of their racing field..it was great for the dogs to run on :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
well whet a fab day we had with the coursin crew today.

we thourt we would try Phoebe in the coursing she ran a blinder realy ran her hart out and got throw to the semies.She got nokked out by littlun who went on to win :thumbsup: well done Tina.

Patton got second in his heat in the unders so pleased with him.

and Pagan got reserve champ in the overs.

we had such a good time so had a go at showing Pepa and Patton didnot get anything but we had a giggle Phoebe got a second (only 2 dogs in the ring)and she wouldent let the judge look at her never mind touch her bless her hart but she got in the ring so am well pleased with her .

Pagan got a 2nd in his class as well.

we had a brill day thanks to everyone involved.
