http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7604293.stm

our local radio station has had me in stitches the last 2 mornings, going on about this, apparently theres a 1 in 50billion chance it might go horribily wrong and turn into a black hole, so of course they have all been preparing for the worst lol

as it was starting at 8am this morning i guess its all went well lol :sweating: :- "

oh ........are you saying the world hasnt ended

does this mean i can come out from my underground bunker :- "

First I knew about it was when Wayne came in from school yesterday

he sat down for a snack and then said Mam have you heard how the world is going to end tomorrow if this Big experiment dosnt work out... (w00t)

...and have you seen how much they spent on this machine that appears to have been just to answer some questions about how the world began..........5 billion flipping quid!!! What a waste, could they not have worked some way to saving the world that we are destroying.....

well they guys on our local radio apparently phoned up the science centre doing the experiment asking them not to do it, cause they didnt like the odds for it going wrong, and it wasnt fair to gamble everyones life lol.

and a man phone up saying his wee 8year old didnt want to take his school lunch money cause the radio said they world was ending,

it was all quite funny this morning.

but yeah what a waste of money, no doubt they will have learned nothing and it will all be a big waste :(

I may be being a bit stupid.

but havent we done inuff harm to the surfice of the planet then doing something as stupped 300 miles or what ever under it .

dose this make sence.
