Thanks For Your Advice Re A 3rd Dog!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I really hope your all keeping well.

Just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who gave me advice on whether to get a boy or a girl to join my two boys Rocky and Bailey.

A week last Friday my OH drove all the way to Wrexham (we live south of Gatwick!) and text me at 8.30pm with a picture saying - will you wait up for me ( arrived home at 1.30am (w00t) )- it was a picture of an 11 week old Whippet x Bedlington called DUKE - he's getting scruffier and greyer by the day I haven't had this cross before so a little exciting too Anyway, after Bailey after making his point he is not to be messed with within 30 mins (what a lovely welcome for him) they all are getting on soooooooooooooooooooooooo well - its such a relief too. Bailey is only 3 yrs but has come to life again Rocky is very much enjoying his quiet time now and why not as 12 yrs!

Duke is loving having the other dogs and our house and garden have become a race track in no time lol!!! Having said that he is brilliant, has a blast, loves a cuddle and snoozes - just like a whippet ! I can take him out for a walk next week and can't wait.

I shall put some pics on shortly, just have to transfer them onto photobucket - wish i could take some photos like you guys with action shots :teehee:

It did take a year for him to get used to the idea of having 3 dogs but leaving pics of whippets on the pc etc he did come round in the end lol!!! :teehee: OH thinks he's smashing and Bailey did need a playmate

It was smashing of him, considering it too him 6 hours to get there after leaving work and telling me he had a sales do after - so yes a smashing surprise and he had every reason to have a layin the next day lol!!!!! I had 3 nights on the sofa with puppy but it was fab :teehee:

Be interesting to see how much bedlington characteristics he's going to have!

Thank you jinnyfizz and janimal for the advice it was smashing - bailey and duke laying next to me on sofa whilst typing this - Rocky resting on his own - bless him x
