Hi,
Non-healing superficial corneal ulcer in dogs is a very common and frustrating condition. This ulcer is usually quite uncomfortable, you will see your dog squinting and the eye would be watery. If untreated it may last for many months and may continue to cause continuous irritation.
If your dog’s eye is watery, closed and uncomfortable please see your vet for assessment and treatment.
There are several treatments that can be implemented and the outcome in general is good.
If you have any questions about corneal ulcer in dogs please do not hesitate to contact me
Best regards
Tamir
