Yes it was a really enjoyable day, it's the first time I've been to Whippet of the Year, and I found it quite exciting being judged on a knoockout system. Well done to all the winners.

It was really nice to meet up with other k9ers as well- and well done especially to Debs and Poppy who won through their first round, and to Yvette and Holly who ended up Reserve best Puppy

Liz and the Monellis

I went along to watch and found it a really interesting day. Congratulations to all those who had qualified to be there. :) :)

It was good to meet some K9ers - thank you Debs for introducing me to some of the others. Well done to you and Poppy.

Many thanks to the organisers for the 'goody' bag and excellent lunch.

Thanks to all concerned for an excellent day! It was really exciting and there were some beautiful dogs there. :) :) Lovely to meet lots of K9ers, but Sarah, sorry, I didn't get to meet you! :(

Many congratulations to all who did well esp Roedeane for RBPIS and alfyn and Poppy who looked really relaxed considering the nerve-wracking atmosphere!

I was really thrilled that my lovely boy was invited to attend the match, but unfortunately he was not looking on top form after a bout of gastroenteritis, plus I had to leave at lunchtime to relieve my OH from looking the children when he is only recently out of hospital himself :( but I am really glad I got the chance to attend and thank the organisers for a most enjoyable time and lots of lovely gifts! :)) :))

Poppy might have looked relaxed, but believe me,I was a nervous wreck!!!! :sweating: I usually stay relatively calm at shows, but there was something about today that got a few of us quaking!!! (w00t)

Having said that,I really enjoyed the day,& a BIG thanks to all concerned  The food was great, especially the wonderful apple crumble & lemon cake :) (I managed to scoff 4 pieces :b ) & it was nice to come away with a rosette,a lovely whippet collar,& various other goodies!

I also met another two K9ers,namely Sarah & Silas, hopefully we'll meet up again soon at Crufts!

Many congratulations to all the winners, but an extra BIG congratulations to Roedeane runaway bride for winning RBPIM  ....I noticed you were in a bit of a :sweating: too Yvette!! (w00t)

Glad you all had a great day :D

I had a ticket but just couldn't make it as I Mum came out of hospital yesterday after a nasty back operation :( How many whippets were there??

Well doen to everyone who qualified to be there - an excellent achievement, and well done to ROEDEANE

Hello, and many many thanks to all those who supported Holly & I yesterday.. So, Debs, you noticed I was a 'little' nervous???? I really don't know how you could tell!? :b Holly has been shattered today and even refused to come over the field with the others -_- Congratulations to all those there yesterday and to the other winners, Yvette

Very well done Yvette & Holly  Have you got any pics or could you not take any ;)

Hiya Cheryl, didn't take photos as my friend was video-ing it. Were only allowed to video my girl(stewards ruling!), how's Angel? Yvette

Shes doing great at lure coursing at the moment Yvette, so glad her sister is doing great at showing

Big well done to all of you. It is nerve wracking and Im not sure why it should be, perhaps we are being watched more by our peers and at an ordinary show we can sneak off if we are chucked out (w00t)
