:) sunlight(NCH THE BUILDERS mother today delivered 4beautiful bitch puppies. 2fawn with black masks. 1 blue and 1 white/parti.mother and pups are doing fine. so sorry dave there was no dog. SIRE master blaster. :)

Bitches will do fine Debbie, though as you know I was hoping for a dog to come back into racing, but they all seem healthy and are feeding well, they are all beautiful, really bonny markings. I know this means nothing in the racing side of things, pretty dogs don't run faster, it would be easier to pick a good one if it was the case.

Tara(Sunlight) is being the brill mother, very busy washing and feeding.

Sunlight (Rch Sonny Boy X Rch Wor Dinah) she is litter mate to Rch/Nch Wor John also dam of Rch/Nch The Builder (Rch Crazy Cracker X Sunlight)
 
Hi Gary me too! looks like I'm coming back to racing with a bitch. Our Ross seems keen this time and is trying to pick one out for himself. My advice to him with over 30 years experience is shut your eyes and the first one you touch is the one to keep, the fuuny thing is he thinks I am joking !!!. He keeps asking me how do you choose? I said I would ask all you experienced whippeteers how do you choose?

So, HOW DO YOU CHOOSE THAT PUP ?

It's been pretty easy for us to pick a pup, our first whippet, we wanted a bitch and as if to order there was only one in the litter, so when we decided to get our 2nd pup she came along as the only bitch once again. :D
 
It's great when they come to order like that fLeesh , it takes away all that delibaration " that looks nice ahh but so does that one" six weeks worth!
 
choosin was the hardest bit lol but the best bit for me cos tig was my first pup i chosse mainly on what he looked like, :D :p best way i recon :c
 
:D hi dave just let every one else pick thiers then have the one thats left as i have always had the last and haven,t done too bad with them :)
 
Pick the ugly one that no-one wants!-Coral and Fluke were both not the prettiest.

Always works for me, and before someone else says it yes I did the same with Steve.

Hi John, Andy's coming over tonight to take the dew claws off, I'll ask him what his choice would be? the answers so far have been great food for thought, one of the best dogs I've owned and raced was Hollywood and she was the ugly ducking and the last one left , maybe there is somthing in that one.

My pup was the ugly duckling, great lump under her jaw, bite wound(now scar) in the middle of her nose and only one eye. It can still run tho ??? I hope ...

Hi Debbie, Andy said he's always had a liking for blue's,which is the one our Ross likes at the moment. Can't believe how quick they are growing, and lively, twice I have had to return two of them to the basket as they had somhow crawled out and headed off half way up the room.

How is your bitch doing Debbie any sign yet? they are due tommorw the 15th arn't they? hope they arrive safely, good luck.

:) no sign of them coming yet but wont be long looking at the size of her. she has definately got a belly full as they say. i feel sorry for her. glad to here they are coming along catch u later
