Sunderland Beach

Hi, does anyone know if the beach at Sunderland allows dogs and which is the best bit to go to as we are thinking of taking our dog as it is probably the nearest to us but wondered if it was OK before we go.

we are hping to get there one day ourselves - we only live about 1 hour away..but I need to change my vehicle first, I have a polo and its a tad small for 3 whippets and hubbys is a Honda but the boot version :angry:

Thanks very much - we only have 1 but he does not like the water so it will be very interesting to see what he makes of the beach - I know he will love to run on the sand but the sea will probably freak him out :blink:
