Stunning Views In The Lot And Dordogne Area

Just come back from a fortnights sunny holiday near Soulliac in Lot. The views were amazing although have come out hazy due to the heat 8)

We drove along this road - fabulous rock structure (w00t)

It rained once...very very hard

There were Chateau's hanging off every cliff!

I saw Whippets!!

I went with friends, to help look after there 10 year old son, Francis, who has severe Autism and Cerabral Palsy

Francis spent a lot of time on his ball watching the pool

and the rest of the time in the pool!

But he learnt to swim!!

And he loves to dangle upside down

He was such good fun to spend a fortnight with :wub:

Thats Roccamadour - brilliant place, they have built lifts that go up through the rock between the different levels, Castle on top, medieval village at the bottom and Monastic community in between - amazing place

Thank you sooooooooo much for removing the spider, stupid I know but they really make me shudder, have to turn away from the TV if there are any on there!!!! Wimp that I am.

What a lovely place you visited, such stunning scenery and SUNSHINE. My Mother lived in the south of France for 30 years, in the Var region at a town called Les Arcs, not the ski resort!

The onion stall was a garlic stall, all different type of garlic, smoked garlic as well. There is such a difference between that garlic and the stuff we get over here.
