Stewart, I moved your new topic here from the k9talk forum - it seems to have more to do with the board functionality rather than dogs.
Your description 'crap' doesn't help me decide whether it is 'just you' or whether there is a problem. Perhaps if you could be slightly more descriptive about what your problem is I could help.
I tried a number of the search options available and they seemed to work ok. I'm not saying that the search facility couldn't be better and it is improved in the new software which is in beta testing at the moment, but it works for me.
