Some of you may remember my photos of Standedge tunnel that I posted the other week - here's a reminder

Well, as my parents are visiting, I took them to see the other end today.

A couple of military planes came over - they were really low.

I just love that third picture... :wub: :wub: what a lovely scene....so nice to see your mam and dad getting in on the act too..as well as the dogs.. :wub: :huggles:

It was a lovely afternoon - well worth a visit, especially if you don't mind enclosed spaces as you can take a 30 minute trip on one of the barges into the tunnel - I could never do that! (w00t)
 
Some nice colours and scenery :thumbsup: I must get to explore that neck of the woods.....it looks very scenic. I'm glad the weather is staying nice for your mum & dad's visit.
