We took the dogs to Stanage Edge today. Molly is better now and Lenny has got over his extreme case of wimpiness (too tired to come out yesterday!).

The weather was nice again, a bit of a grey start but still no rain :D

As you can see by my hair and Lennys ears, it was a bit windy! Hope you like the pics :D

Last time John and I went up there it snowed on us!! (w00t)

Looks nice today, like the yoghurt pot shot

Ah-ha....so that's where you got to today. :teehee: I love those gritstone edges....they make for some wonderful photos. Popular with the climbers too.

Some lovely photos. You're spoiling us this week! :D

Well I don't normally have any nice shots from walks in west yorkshire! I always end up taking so many pictures on holiday and not many for the rest of the year. We did see some climbers today. There weren't many when we went up but by the time we got back there were quite a few.

I don't think I'd like it up there in the snow - too cold :D

Molly and Lenny are little sods for stealing yoghurt! They sit in their best, totally upright sits as soon as we open a pot and then basically mug us to lick the pot. Lenny doesn't really like it but he doesn't want to miss out on something that Molly obviously loves so much :teehee:

Great photos ...that walk would really suit me if I get round to getting myself into Derbyshire. Shouldn't be too difficult to get to from the east. I guess you started out from Hathersage. I'll have to get an OS map and have a look.

Yes from Hathersage  Definately get yourself to Derbyshire, we have had a great week, last day of our holidays tomorrow and I will be sad to get back to Wakefield :(

Its pretty near to sheffield so easy to get to :)

Some great photos again Lucy. I'm really enjoying looking at your holiday pics! That's somewhere else I've never been. A couple of nice pics of you and the dogs and I love the one of them licking out the yogurt pot!

Our first whippet Josh was a master at getting the last of the yogurt out of the pot. He used to cut the pot into strips with his teeth and peel them back so he could get his tongue right down to the bottom. Very hard to explain but he was so clever at it. :huggles:
