Our annual Fun Day for all Hounds Terriers etc who would like to come along and enjoy a chase after the lure, and join us in some food and hospitality at the club, will be held on Sunday 15 August from 12.30 pm. All welcome.

Oops, sorry. It is at the club field in Ochtertyre Road which is off the A84, about 2 miles west of Junction 10 on the M9 at Stirling.

Hi Liz

Is that easy to find coming from the North? Our whips would love to come along and say hello!

Hi Zill

Should be easy to find if you come off M9 at Junction 10, take Crianlarich road, and the sign for Ochtertyre Road is about 2 miles along there. I do hope the road has opened again by then, but it should be alright coming from Perth. Here is hoping the weather has improved by Sunday and I look forward to seeing you and your dogs haing fun.

Can't believe my girl came into season on Friday

Oh well. I guess we'll have to try and make it next year now! Hope you all have a lovely day - weather looks like it should be glorious. 8)

Hard luck. we had a super day weatherwise and all the visitors seemed to enjoy themselves, I did wonder where you were! Lots of support from the Deerhounds, 11 running (and some of them went all the way round without cheating by cutting across!), several terriers, Lakelands, Parsons and Borders, a greyhound and 2 Lurchers, 2 new Whippets and one owner who won a consolation rosette for his noble effort in accompanying his Terrier round the course! All good fun. See you next year, I hope your girl times things better in 2005.

Many thanks to all who supported us and helped on the ground.

So good to hear you all had fun and decent weather among the thunderstorms we've been having recently!

Will you be having any more 'open days' before next years one? I couldn't even bring some of the older ones because OH wasn't free to dogsit :(

Maybe next year I could bring my IG too... (w00t)

No official Open days until next year, but you are very welcome to come along on an ordinary racing Sunday and give your dogs a trial in between races, a straights day is probably best for beginners, but not essential. Do give one of us a ring before coming to check that racing is on and what kind etc. Racing will go on till the end of October, weather permitting. Any time after 2.00 pm when racing should start. We will be running bends this Sunday.
