SPWRC supporters and friends held the annual dinner and Prize giving in Stirling on 4th Dec.
After a really interesting, knowledgeable and amusing illustrated talk on "The Dog in Art", with emphasis on the running dog/whippet, by member Doug Prosser, an artist himself. the following trophies were awarded.

Congratulations to all for a successful racing season, we missed the presence of club secretary and lure man, Denis Lindsay, at race meetings this year due to poor health, and wish him well for 2005. However it was great to see him with us at the prize giving.
Thanks to all the members who have worked hard to keep the racing going in Denis' absence, especially Calum Wilson, a comparative newcomer to whippet racing who has kept the lure and machinery going, we wish him much success with his own whippets when they get racing next season.
