My Two year old Lab is "hearing" demons! Seems very noise sensitive (buzzing noises anyway) and is an almost constant state of being freaked out like something is trying to get him. Keeps trying to lick his own chest and nibbles at his back legs and then runs round the house trying to get away from whatever he thinks has spooked him. Any ideas? He may also be developing epilepsy but so far only a couple of very minor fits( no paddling and rigidity)

Thanks for any tips or hints

Have you had him to a vet. If he's had seizures on top of these behaviours, if it was my dog is be concerned about a possible brain tumour or other neurological issue. I know that's not what you want to hear, but all if those symptoms combined would truly worry me and I'd get him in for tests asap

I am with the other poster, get him to a vet asap. there are so many things this could be and you need an expert to advise you. My own dog had several issues but had this horrible L2 thing and I don't believe labs can get that. It is a genetic disorder, but it was many years ago. but we could give you all sorts of horror stories and have your dog be fine, or reassure you everything is grand when he desperately needs treatment. The only option is to get him seen, but if you can keep a diary of symptoms as well feeds exercise etc.. It may help your vet to pin down the cause. In our case exercise was a major trigger.
