Sparky Goes To Ringcraft

Tonight was my first day at school, well ringcraft to be exact, except that when we got there it was match night so there was no ringcraft.

Mum decided not to enter, discretion being the better part of valour, but to sit and watch and socialise.

First I socialised with a Kerry Blue who was a right softie, then I socialised with a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and then I had a bark and thought this is all a bit tame, where's the fun, all they do is stand like dummies and walk up and down a bit, where's all the action.

It all got a bit more lively when the lady brought the mop out, but even then no one was allowed to chase it.

Mum had some biscuits in her bag, just in case I needed some encouragement, so I ate all those.

I then had to go outside to have a wee, loads of new sniffs there , then I came back in and got pounced on by a Scottish Terrier, he really scared me, but it's alright, he's on my list.

I've got two new best friends, a black greyhound and a white greyhound, plus I quite like the look of an Irish Setter with a really waggy tail.

I've got a new member's pack which I have to digest by next week, shouldn't be too difficult, I can digest most things, so I'm off to bed now.

Did I learn anything, yes keep away from b.........y Scottish Terriers.

well done sparky.i know it can be boring but life isnt all beer an skittles you know! 8) (or chasing squirrels and bunnies!)but the good news is if you do really well at it youll find yourself with lots of lovely new girlfriends! :wub: and everyone will pamper you and tell you how clever you are. so it might be worth while sticking at it! o

Q3 Do you know the name of his father. Err Yes

Q4 Where did you buy his lead.

Q5 Would you like to buy some raffle tickets

It's all very challenging but I think we'll cope.

Our lovely little ringcraft is in a tiny hall during the winter, but in the summer we have the football pitch outside and once a month one of our very kind members opens up their own field at the end of their lovely garden for us, and we all sit outside in the warm summer evenings (use your imagination here :- " ) and talk dogs and drink tea, and at the end all the dogs have a mad run around and frisbee chasing session (with Zephyr winning hands down!!) :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

It's really good fun, and we meet lots of lovely dogs of different breeds, and some really nice people too. :thumbsup:

That's the bit about ringcraft which I always get pointed towards - you know, Q5 (would you like to buy some raffle tickets?!!!!!).

My husband always says "my wife's got the money" and very helpfully points me out to people. No wonder I'm always skint and he's got plenty of cash!!

Managed another picture. This one was taken up on the South Downs alast Sunday, he was having a brilliant time and this is the moment he saw a sheep for the first time. He then started walking backwards and hid behind my legs, such a brave little fella.

Jenny Sparky Looks lovely,very much like his brother Connor...Glad to see Sparky out and about,we've got to start with Trips in the Car next week as we've just about managed the lead training now!! )

Ours go round the block twice a day now and grass training aswell!!
