Hi

We used to race whippets when I was young, I now show them along with my husband.

I would love to go along and watch the whippet racing again and wondered whether anyone knows of anywhere near the South Yorkshire area where they hold meetings.  There used to be club at Swallownest but I believe they no longer run there.

Hope someone can help

There is only non-ped racing now in south Yorkshire. In fact there is a big meet this Sunday at Barnsley. I'm sure Tony or Michelle can give you details of this we may go ourselves.

If we take Ben can we get him a solo Tony/Michelle/Vicky?

I'm sure you'll get a trial Terry (beats queing for 2 hours a wessy) i'm taking Mack for i trial anyway, i was planning on racing Ella there but she's injured yet again.

Maybe we'll see you sunday then!!!!

Anyone who fancies, is welcome to come to highgate greyhound stadium, goldthorpe, barnsley(stadium sit from A1take A635) on sunday for the BWRA's first bend open of the year, racing SHOULD start about 12.30-1pm ish, bar facilities are available, but i'm not so sure about food(or do what we do, and go macdonalds in pontefract ;) )

hi michelle what dogs have you got running on sunday

I'll be running my youngster moonpie(stewart x hobgoblin)  in 36lb sc, I'm hoping there will be consolation racing, so she can have another run after she gets beat ??? (1st competative race),true faith(soapy joe x blue monday) had yet another operation on tuesday so he will be off for a while, apart from that I've got nothing else to run, as hobgoblin is due pups in 31/2 weeks, but i'm hoping to run her this summer on the straights(providing things go ok with the pups) we assume she is pregnant as she is MASSIVE , but i keep having re-occuring dreams about 1 bitch and 7 dogs!!!(could it be a premonition !!!!)
