Theres lots of lovely cakes!! and of course lots of lovely whippies and their owners!

Would love to come but think Bridgewater is just a tad to faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar :D

Hope you have a good show, I am sure APHRAEL will be there in some respect VBG .

BTW who is the Judge and what is the entry like?

not entered this time :( :( work commitments

Aphrael will be there in the form of Savannah (entered) and Telyn (staying in the car with Chelsea and daddy).

Wendy

If any of you lovely people happen to see Lucinda Aldrich-Blake showing a couple of blue whips, one dog, and one bitch. Would you mind taking a couple of photos?

They are Archie's brother and sister, and she is doing really well with them.

I'd be really interested to see what they look like. The affix is Astrophel, and I think the names are Holly Blue, and Adonis Blue.

Thanks

Jo

Dawn - yep it is a bit of a trip for an open show - but Wendy & Savvy I am sure will be representing Aphrael in fine form! The judge is John Steel - who is a greyhound man really, we tend to have the whippet specialist (champ show standard) at the September show. I think the entry is about 150 dogs, so not bad at all!

Joanna, I will do my best and try and take a picture of them if they are there, but don't think I will be able to manage it as I think I would be in the same class as the dog puppy in the morning. I'll try for the bitch in the afternoon, but am stewarding so will have to see what I can do - mind you I am sure Wendy will help out if I can't :D

If you show me who to shoot I'll be happy to :D

Wendy (who's meaning with a CAMERA)

Well it was a really nice day. I did get a picture of the male dog - but need to resize it to post here - I completely forgot about the female  until it was too late - really sorry.

Can you believe the PGB class was only 5 entries! And of them only 2 of them showed. So Savvy had the distinct honour of being 2nd out of two :- "

Teya (pup), Chelsea (mix) and Daddy stayed in the car, but Teya sneaked into the foyer to have a look at the Whippet Rescue show leads and to visit with people who'd been asking to see her. She was quite the confident little pup!! I was really impressed with how she handled herself with so many people making a fuss and with the crowd around the Rescue stand.

Overall it was a pretty good day with most of the people I knew placing in the first 2 or 3. Well done to everyone. I didn't stay to see who got best bitch or BIS as I figured we'd bored Savvy and Teya long enough.

has anyone got any results please???????

Hi Wendy, You could e-mail me the photo, and I will resize! I'd love to see all your pics too. Thanks for that. Does he look like Archie?????

Here's the close up - sorry it's fuzzy, but I didn't want to use the flash while people were showing - I used flash in the line-up.

Here he is in the final lineup for his class. I'll email you the rest of the pics from the day. I didn't take a lot, just when someone I knew was in the class and/or placed. the fuzzy ones will be during the class -the good ones will be in the lineup where I was able to use the flash.

Wendy

OMG,

Thanks Wendy. He is so like Archie in shape. That is so wierd, we nearly had him (or his almost identical brother). Yes, if you send me the others, I'll do the business.

Thats me and little Stan!!! :D :p

So annoyed with myself as I forgot my camera :( But Joanna you will be pleased to know that Archies brother and sister won the brace class - they looked so good together  They are obviously like your Archie as they were both being very well behaved in the brace class both with their eyes firmly fixed on the corner of the room - which of course was the KITCHEN!!

Had a fab day - Little Stan got a second so did my Archie - very pleased! I haven't got all the results to hand but BIS was Arjuna Joie de Vivre (sorry about the spelling), was also BIS at the Feb show! RBIS was Ch Flarepath Sirrius.

Any more photos of Archie or Stan Wendy??? BTW Teya looked so so lovely  ad Savvy of course - I thought she moved really well, she obviously likes that venue!!

Ha........Kitchen, love it. The boy is so like my Archie!!!!!!!

Wendy sent me loads of photos, which is you Joe? I'll pop it up if you are in it!

Oh, I'll do it any-way, sorry if these are repeated.......I'll list
