Hi folks

I am organizing the above event - after attending Peterborough a couple of weeks ago, I thought that it would be a great idea to support 'Lurcher Link'

The show will be held in a small village called Brailes - Warwickshire. I have a provisional postcode of OX15 5HN (Nearest Public Inn)

I have attached all of the schedules below - If you would like these emailed to you as the format changes when posting to the forum, Just pm me your email address you would like these sent too.

Any questions please just ask - I will try and respond within the same day.

Kind regards

Tom

I have included a sponsorship request form. Obviously being for charity, my aim is to have no outstanding costs going into the weekend - therefore all revenue generated by entries and show entries etc is all profit.

I am not going to go round begging people on forums but if anyone would be kind enough to sponsor that would be fab.

I have included for people to see what I am trying to do and my aims for the event to be a success for 'Lurcher Link'

Thanks for looking

Sounds like a great event Tom, hope you raise lots of money for Lurcher Link.

I would like to say well done you especially for catering for the veterans in the racing. I have always felt that the oldies should be included to encourage people to keep their oldies and to rehome the older guys. WELL DONE and i hope this event is a huge success. (sadly my veteran is not able to race or he would be there doing his bit for charity but if not otherwise booked i will certainly come along and support the showing)

Jo and gang.

Thank you Jo - I feel the same for the Veterans, racing or even seeing them trot around the show ring, its great to see. I have shown a 14 year 'Tazmanian' Lurcher and won on many occassions - which i enjoy although not my dog :teehee:

Hopefully there is a good turnout for the veterans in the racing

Will it be at Brailes village Hall? If so a great location

Hi Tanny

Thanks for the reply - I will email you later on this evening to discuss.

There is another class I need to add to the schedule so just these two will keep the classe numbers even

Many thanks

Tom

Just to let people know that I am holding some fun racing on Saturday 4th February. The location will be the same field as being used for the April show - (OX15 5AS)

The day will be an informal event with people having friendly racing or even solo runs. Dogs of any experience welcome, hopefully get a few more bag catchers - chasing by the end of the day :teehee:

Any questions - Please ask.

Regards

Tom

Good luck with both dates Tom

Cheers Milly

Hoping the fun lure meeting attracts some newcomers to the racing weekend in April..

Just a quick update for Saturday - unfortunately due to the on going frosts I would probably advice people traveling from distances not to risk the disappointment of the ground being unsuitable for running. I will still be there with the Lure just as people may won't to run their dogs and you never know the weather may change??

Although I will defiantly be inquiring into booking another date prior to April to give people a chance to run their dogs if they decide to stay at home this Saturday - I will update as soon as I find any info regarding dates etc

Sorry to inform people of this but think it is at the dogs interest/safety. I wouldn't won't people to travel long distances and turn up to be disappointed.

Regards

Tom
