Poor Sid is getting a sore neck from his collar. Can anybody tell me where I can get a soft collar from. I am sure I read somewhere that you can get soft backed collars.

Does he wear his collar all the time? What are you walking him on?

I use a regular nylon or soft leather collar to keep their tags on and leave them on quite loose so their necks aren't bothered by them. Then when I walk them I use a martingale style collar or collar/lead in one to walk them on in addition to the tag collar. I just slip the extra one over their head.

I buy most of my collars from here: http://www.dogwalkers.net She uses really high quality nylon and it doesn't break the hair.

There is also another collar maker that people have been raving about on here but I don't have the link to hand - she makes gorgeous leather collars and lines them with suede if I remember correctly.

I got this soft protection collar for my Simba quite a few months ago and it's been really good. Fings crossed this link will take you to it:

[if not, copy and paste should work! 8) ]

The blue one they show in the picture looks a bit naff, but I got a black one and it almost :- " looks like leather. It's really spongy, but seems quite strong; being a bit of a puller on the lead, Simba was getting a sore neck [still trying to fully resolve that issue :b ], but he's had no problems with this collar.
