Do you know it really makes me Mad   When I had Max I had the same thing, I was told constantly he was to big and overweight. What a load of codswallop!!! I was then told by some jobsworth to replace one of his milk feeds with water. Yeah right, as if, take it she has not got any kids. He is my third child, he is now three and one very healthy little boy who will eat anything and everything. Give them a bit of book knowledge and a goverment boost on overweight kids and they take it all to the extreme. He looks one very healthy little boy to me, and sooooooooooooooo cute

Look at his pics.

Love his gorgeous blue eyes..too.. :huggles:

He's beautiful-how healthy he looks.

The clinic told me my son was overweight as a baby too-had me really worried-they even asked the clinic doctor to measure his head circumference etc...

Complete load of rubbish as i was only breastfeeding him-nothing extra-so how could he possibly be?

He's never ever been overweight and he's 18 now...the slimmest of us all-

Karen B.

Those blue eyes certainly run in your family, Ann

What a lovely picture :huggles:

Someone ought to tell those busybodies that human beings come in all shapes and sizes - it'd be a sad and dysfunctional world if we were all the same

hes lovley, dont listen to the health visitors they talk rubbish

my wee boy came out in a rash all over his tummy at 4moths old (when i started giving him sma) my mum said he might be ilergic to cows milk and to try him on the sma soya for a week and see it it helped (mums know best so i tryed it. 2 days later his belly was completley clear of any rash so just to test it 3weeks later we introduced the cows milk again and his stomack flared up so bad.

i had him on soya for 3months before the health visitor found out and she went MENTAL!! saying i should never have changed to soya with out there consent and that it would be effecting his growth (yeah right hes a monster) she tryed to tell me the rash was the washing powered i was using (i have used the same washing powder non stop for 4years now) she refered me to the gp and sick kids strait away as i insisted on giving him soya.

the gp said if the soya was working there was nothing wrong with giving him it.

the sick kids dietition and skin expert said (from looking at a pick of the rash i had taken) it was quite clear it was an illergic reaction to some sort of food and it was quite obviously milk as there was no rash now. and the sma soya would have exactly the same nutriants as the sma gold/white.

since then i have had numerous run ins with my hv and i have since decided that i no longer wish to recive there feedback.

major advice to any parent, your mum or your gran will know more about how to look after kids than your health visitor or nurse or gp or midwife. i always take there advice first.

he looks completely georgous to me.

He's gorgeous - such a cutie :D Tell your niece not to worry. Once he gets more mobile he will burn any excess fat off. My son was very similar and I too was told he would grow up to be fat. From the time he was about 3 he slimmed right down, and now that he's almost 10 I constantly stress that he's too thin

awww he's lovely Ann

Dont listen to what they say, i was told bill was under weight, and that i wasnt feeding him enough  if a kid doesnt want to eat, then they wont, they wont starve themselves.........we saw doctor after doctor , who all said he was to small........even his head was to small for his age...............they said his being 4 weeks early didnt have anything to do with it...............he's fine and healthy....................AND TINY (w00t)

your little morgan looks just fine to me

aww what a cutie, bet he breaks a few girls hearts when hes old enough :huggles:

he looks a health baby to me

i struggled to get weight on my daughter when she was a baby and it was a battle every day to get her to eat :sweating: and she had a allergy to sma and was put on wheysoy(sp) which helped to keep the diarrohea at bay.so i would consider your little cutie more healthier than what my daughter was.

ann he is gorgeous!!!!

what a load of crap they panic these mums with !!!! tell her she has a gorgeous little boy and to enjoy this time , it will all go once he is mobile anyway :huggles:
