Isn't it lovely when a male dog takes an active interest in puppies,I had a gsd many a year ago who would get in the whelping box as soon as Mum had got out .

I thought their mom would chase him away when she discovered him, but... there seems to be some sort of system. They are taking turns. Ellen goes in to feed them, leaves for a snooze on the couch and their brother moves in for clean-up services and cuddling.



It must totally be his French blood!!! His half-sister was also totally mad about baby puppies. I have never had a male before who took an interest in puppies (if we don't count steeling their food).

Oh Malin , that is so lovely to see :wub: . You wouldnt catch either of my boys any where NEAR pups whatever age they are . Montee couldnt stand Libbee until she was at least 12 weeks old , even then he wasnt too keen :b

The fact that Oskar is washing them too , is just unbelievable . Who IS the daddy ?

Fleur is due to have Montees` pups in about 4 weeks and I bet any money he wont be any where near , unless there is some spare food about :b
