Our holiday cottage on Arran had lots of chickens and ducks roaming around the place. Thought you might like to see them ...

I just checked on the cottage web site - they're crested ducks, and one of them is called Sid and the owner describes him as having a punk hair-do! :lol:

Sounds like the ideal holiday location but I'd never dare to stay there as Ella is a "bird killer" (w00t) She has 2 sparrows, a cock pheasant and a rook to her credit already

It was a real shame that we couldn't let either Muffin or Jonah off the lead outside our cottage as they would both (especially Jonah) have been off after the birds! This was the field outside our cottage patio doors - they'd have loved it. But the chickens were always about and the ducks amused me because every evening they would stroll around in a big line. They looked so cute. :wub:
