we used to run a dog track with this so called friend who we got to now really well or so we throught.she gave us one of her dogs with no strings attached.but then it all went pear shaped we gave up the track so during the winter months we could fly our hawks.as last winter they sort of got pushed to one side .then she rang up and started demanding the dog back  .as she kept on so much we had to give the dog back as we didnt want the hassel of her keeping on.our 8 year old daughter is really upset as she has just qualifed for the child handling championship in cheshire with lurcherworld later on this year with this dog.

it has happened twice now with the same person we bought a lure off her then she wanted it back so i guess we should of realised not to have any thing off this person. thanks for reading now i feel a lot better now i have got it off my chest

Oh dear...sounds like a right nasty person......i would stay right away from them in the future

EH ???????????????????????

Are we talking about beau here, how can she demand back a dog that she gave away, you should of told her to go fourth and multiply, you can't give away something and then ask for it back, i know what i would of done but i can't repeat it on here, you shold of told her that she wasn't getting the dog back, unless she paid you a kennel bill for the time you had her

No wayyyy she cant take Beauuu nooooooooooo :(

she was gorgeous!

As for the woman, thats damn right cheeky!

I hope charley is OK

Sorry to hear about this Sarah, next time someone offers you a dog give them something for it, even if its a pound, that way you've bought it. Ask for the dog back in exchange for the money she owes you for its food etc. If you don't get it back then get in touch with Lurcherworld and explain the situation, as its a Child Handling Competition then its the child thats being judged not the dog. so they may let her compete with 1 of your other dogs. Good luck

sit down and work out ruffly the cost of food any jabs and vet bill for the dog realy go for it there coller leads toys petrol to take him to and from the vets dog beds anything at all you can think of no matter how smail it soon mounts up. while he was with you and say eather the dog is your in witch case you want him returned or if she still considers the dog hers here the outstanding bill for his care and upkeep and you will take her to the smale clames court for the money plues excpences for court fees aswell added on.. when you get him back get her to sign he is yours and get him chipped in your name. play her at her own game
