smooth Collies were virtually unknown in the U-S, but a few years back the SD-community 'discovered' them, & they've become a quietly popular choice as an assistant for wheelchair users.
I must admit i'm not keen on their coats, but i do love their work ethic & calm, competent demeanor, kindly nature, & joyful spirit.
