I was just wondering if Leon will fill out much more than he is now ? I thought at almost two he'd be about done filling out

I always thought Leon was quite a big whippet :b as he always looks big compared to pics of other whippets on here  but height wise he's actually smaller than a lot of whippets on here :- "

It was only after meeting Fynn that I realised why he looks quite big :b

When we first met Fynn and saw him running with Leon, Fynn looked much smaller than Leon but when they stood next to eachother there's not much between them

The reason is :b in build Leon looks like a bitch compared to Fynn  so it makes him look quite leggy and tall :b

Fynn is 4 years old so he is two years older but should there be such a difference in build ? as there is a huge difference  and its not like Fynn is fat as his muscles were really well defined

Strangely Leon was much quicker than him though

Cheers

There's a lot of factors that can be responsible - some can be genetics. Some whippets are just less built than others. Some could be early neutering - many people believe that neutering early means they don't get a full dose of testosterone which can result in taller/bitchy looking males.

As for if they can still fill out after 2 years... Savvy seemed to have another phase of filling out this past year and she was 4, so I think it's possible.
