Absolutely outraged at what ive witnessed this morning in the early hours, but inside of this fence is where i go ALONE to badger watch, ive had em that close, they have actually chewed on my jumper, and have gotten to know me, but never again will i encounter these 2 beautiful creatures, cos there poor bodies lie on the banking at the back of this pic, ripped to bits by terriermen, ive had my suspicions cos the fencing i have to climb to get in, had been ripped out the ground, what an awful sight to see for a bloke like me, im not a violent person, but god forbid if id have been there, id have done em a mischief, i will find out whos responsible, they will be back and i will be there

Hi Keith, am the Police Wildlife Officer where i am, contact your local station and ask for their equivalent - if no joy come back to me and i will see what i can do, if you let me know what area as well i can liase with the local Badger Watch group. There may be DNA at the scene.

OMG how awful People make me sick. The more I hear things like this happening the more I just want to be with my animals and my family. I would definately contact someone - I thought badgers were protected, so surely it is a crime and the area a crime scene? You must be heartbroken

I am crying my eyes out....I hate this.How can these people do this to innocent wild, beautiful animals. Oh keith, for you to find this is just too awful to think about.

I have three Jack Russells Terriers ......I`d like to let them loose on whoever did this evil deed and tear THEM to shreds......They are such cowards, they`d probably cry at first sight of them ..This type of person is the first to complain of hurt yet they inflict such pain on others.....But what can you do with people as cruel as this...They have no heart to appeal to.

I`m so sorry this happened to you you keith. I can feel how upset you are as we all are..It`s so dreadful....I can`t get it out of my mind, poor poor animals.
