Many of you will have seen this thread yesterday ........

Because of this little whippet's awful plight, brought about by her uncaring and unscrupulous owner, I have decided to make my rescue efforts official and Scruples Whippet Rescue has been born :thumbsup:

 

Scruples will be run as a charity and will limit it's activity to whippets only. Unfortunately I can't take more than one, or maybe two, whippets at any one time but that is one or two more who might not have a very bright future without Scruples.

 

I can't thank all of you enough for the offers of help and donations which have already been made .......... I'm sorry if I haven't replied to all the PMs yet, but the K9 system of only letting you send one PM every 5 minutes is very limiting :oops:

 

Because of this, until Scruples has it's own email address and website, could you use this email address please (that way I can respond to you within a reasonable time frame! :))

If you need a helping hand in Scotland at any time, let me know and I will do what I can.

I can always vet homes / owners and help find new owners for rescues etc
 
That's brilliant, wishing you loads of luck with the rescue and with your first 'inmate' (don't think that's the right word but you know what I mean :lol: ) :luck:

If you want to have copies of any Oldies Club paperwork (home visit forms, adoption contracts, transfer of ownership forms etc) you'd be very welcome, they might give you a starting point at least for sorting out your own, or if there's anything else I can help with just let me know!

Just can't get the staff these days :-

I have asked Nigel to change the email address on the original first post so the email addy for future use will be

which is the email addy I wanted in the first place but when I tried to get it, it was already taken (w00t) ....... now we know why!!!!! :teehee: :teehee:

Well I got admining, like you told me too :p

Bear with us folks, this is a very new venture but hopefully one that will make a huge difference to the lives of whippets in need :)
